7. CONDITIONS FOR EXISTING DWELLINGS
Intelligent Controller where applicable will be installed close to the existing geyser. Surface trunking may be used to run cables from the controller to the solar system and back. Civil works such as drilling may be required to access the outside of the dwelling.

Where applicable, new pipework may be required from the existing pump or supply line to the solar system. This pipework is usually surface pipework using PPR-C pipes, installed along the most discrete practical path.

After installation, some plumbing fittings such as shower heads or internal supply pipes may need replacement to benefit from balanced hot and cold water pressure. Unless specifically listed in this quotation, those works are outside this quotation and outside Naisol's scope.

If the existing cold tank ball valve is faulty and the solar system depends on it, replacement may be required. A standard 3/4" model in a standard configuration costs KES 2,500 including fitting. Specialized models may need to be sourced separately.
